Letz Retail Online Course

Welcome to LETZ RETAIL ONLINE, the learning space where small business, start-ups and entrepreneurs from the digital sector (referred to as “small digital” sector) and the ones from retail, commerce, hospitality and cultural/creative sectors (referred to as “small commerce” sector), gain insights and knowledge on how to co-create, co-design and collaborate in the digital transformation journey of the small commerce sector.

Through our  small bitesize theory, you will be guided through the process from ideation to evaluation. There are tips and tricks to help you on your way, and resources for further learning.

“ Personas” help you to understand better the other sector, and the complementary case studies serve as example and inspiration.

With the knowledge acquired, you can use the Action Plans to lay the foundations for starting your own co-creation, co-design and collaboration journey.

There are 3 learning pathways, with common and different content for the first 2 pathways, while the last one includes all the content.

  1. If you belong to the SMALL COMMERCE SECTOR, this pathway gives you insight and knowledge on how to co-create, co-design and collaborate with the small digital sector to find a solution which suits you and allows you to make the most from digital tools and technologies.
  2. If you belong to the SMALL DIGITAL SECTOR, this pathway gives you the capacity to co-create, co-design and collaborate with you (potential) clients from the small commerce sector in a more efficient and effective way, ensuring that the solution offered match their needs.
  3. If you are a BUSINESS HUB, INNOVATION INTERMEDIARY; BUSINESS ASSOCIATION or any other type of business support organization, this pathway provides you with the information and knowledge and the perspective from both sectors, so that you can initiate and/or support the co-creation, co-design and collaboration processes between your users, beneficiaries or clients.

LETZ RETAIL ONLINE has been the logical progression of the LETZ RETAIL programme, which focused on the co-creation within the SMALL COMMERCE SECTOR. If you want to know more about this programme, click here.

About Us

Let'z Retail Online

During an analysis we had undertaken in our first steps at LETZ RETAIL on changing consumer behaviour due to COVID, we identified that 61% of the respondents intend to buy more from small local businesses, but most importantly online presence would encourage 90% of consumers to buy from small local businesses. The combination of increased interest and willingness to buy from local businesses (and support them) generates opportunities for those capable of providing an answer by “going online”.

In Letz Retail Online we understand this as the process to transform business processes to position, market and sell their products and services online, in a (cyber)secure way. The small businesses from the retail, commerce, hospitality and cultural/creative sectors, that want to embrace digital and start their “going online” process need innovative solutions and technologies to cater for their newly launched omni-channel offering, which go beyond the standard offers, of the larger IT providers. They need fresh-thinking, fast response and close connections which small businesses, start-ups and entrepreneurs that the digital sector can offer to them. The project addresses the space of intersection and intense cooperation between both sectors need.
