During the collaboration the small commerce wants to keep track and see how the small digital is doing. While you want to keep track of the progress made, you do not want to be the one party which is constantly hovering above the working partner.

How to monitor progress, provide input, and feedback. Try to provide positive feedback or provide it in a respectful way, do not just dismiss everything which Small Digital has done.

Tips & tricks

  • Have regularly appointments
  • Check in when you haven’t heard from the small digital in a while
  • If things are changing provide feedback in a respecting way
  • Keep track of the plans created in preparation
  • Avoid: Destructive comments and irrelevant comments.

Examples

You have created a plan while preparing the collaboration. During the implementation you notice the digital has not sent new materials at the set deadline. After a few days you have not heard anything. Now you can send the small digital a message to ask where the new materials are. After a couple of days they reply, with an apology and include the new materials and a promise to keep to the next deadline. For now there is a bit of delay, however this should not cause problems for the next deadline.

 Checklist
